Discover ways to serve in Cottage Grove
Although we are a new church in Cottage Grove, we want to be an irreplaceable part of our community by loving, serving, and building into the people and places surrounding us! We, as the church, want to intentionally serve in a few key areas. If you have a heart to serve our community and neighbors, you are invited to a meeting after church on July 19, (stay after the service in the auditorium), where our impact team will present opportunities to get involved in the life of our community! Questions? Email Henry Michael.
Save the date: Oaks Kids Family Camp
Elementary families, mark your calendars for family camp on August 8, 9 am-12 pm at Five Oaks Church. Join us for a fun-filled morning of worship, games, team competitions, crafts, and meaningful family conversations as we explore what it looks like to follow Jesus as a family. Childcare is available for preschool-aged children and younger. Details and registration here.

We need you to make an impact
On Thursday, July 23, 4:30–6:30 pm, join us at Armstrong Elementary as we partner with South Washington County Cares for their Skoolie event—a fun evening of games, crafts, books, food, and activities for local families. We’re looking for families and small groups to help make kids feel welcomed, valued, and loved with bubbles, activities, and games. Interested? Email Melissa Borner, mborner@oakscg.church.
Take your next step as a leader
You influence people every day — at work, at home, in ministry, and in your community. Whether you’re just discovering that or you’ve been leading for years, the best leaders never stop growing. The Global Leadership Summit is a two-day experience designed to equip you to make a greater impact where God has placed you. Five Oaks is a host site this year — join us August 6 and 7. Details and registration here.
Are you interested in baptism?
One of the greatest joys in the life of our church is celebrating baptisms. On August 16, we’ll gather outdoors to hear stories of God’s grace and celebrate as believers publicly declare their faith in Jesus. If you’ve been thinking about baptism or have questions about what it is and why it matters, we’d love to connect with you. Email Henry Michael at henrymw@oakscg.church to learn more and explore whether baptism is your next step.
