Kingdom Priorities - W7
It’s easy to believe the Christian life is about doing better—trying harder, knowing more, and avoiding past mistakes. But in Matthew 23:29–39, Jesus exposes how external improvement can hide an unexamined heart. Speaking to the Pharisees, he warns against repeating the same sins in more respectable ways, desiring comfort over transformation, and ultimately getting in our own way. In this message, Pastor Henry Michael Williams invites us to slow down and honestly examine our lives before God. Rather than measuring ourselves against others, we’re called to cling to Christ, allow him to reshape our desires, and receive the grace that leads to real change.
