Weekend of April 12

Global 6K for Clean Water: Invite your friends!

The story of Easter shows us that hope is very real. Join us for the life-changing message of the hope Jesus brings through the resurrection. We have two Easter services on Sunday, April 5, at 9 and 11 am, and programming for kids at both services. This is a great opportunity to invite neighbors and friends to join you. Get all the Easter details here.

Interested in Family Dedication?
Is your family interested in Family Dedication? We’d love for you to join us for our Family Dedication Class on April 25 at 5:30 pm at Five Oaks Church. This class is designed to encourage and equip parents of young children to be intentional in raising kids who know and love God (Deuteronomy 6:5–7). Childcare is provided, and Family Dedication will take place during service on May 10. For more information and/or to register, click here.

Are you a word nerd?
Our church has a devotional called DailyLife, written and edited entirely by volunteers. We currently have openings on our writing and editing teams! If you love to write and/or edit and want to help shepherd our readership in their walk with Jesus, please email Peg Benson, pbenson@fiveoakschurch.org. We provide training and support on an ongoing basis as needed. This is a great way to serve from home — or from the cabin!

Preview night for upcoming sixth and ninth graders
Moving up in student ministries can feel like a big jump—for both students and parents. Preview Night on April 15 is a chance to experience what’s ahead and step in with confidence. Students will join the next level of programming while parents attend a short informational meeting. Students currently in grades 5-7 meet 6–8 pm; grades 8-12 meet 7–9 pm – all at Five Oaks Church. Register at www.fiveoaks.church/students. Questions? Email Dan Eggum at deggum@fiveoakschurch.org.
