Global 6K for Clean Water: Invite your friends!
Did you know that over 1000 kids die each day across the globe due to contaminated water? One way you can help is to join our annual Team World Vision Global 6K for Water at Colby Lake Park in Woodbury on May 16. Register now to bike, run, or walk with your family and friends to provide clean water where it’s needed most. World Vision Global 6K: We’d love your help
As the Global 6K for Clean Water approaches on May 16, we need your help to make this event a success for both the communities across the world in need of clean water, and for all of the families who are participating in the event. We’re expecting lots of non-Five Oakers to walk, run, and stroll that day, some of whom have no idea how amazing the people of Five Oaks are. Let’s welcome all who show up that day! Interested in Family Dedication?
Is your family interested in Family Dedication? We’d love for you to join us for our Family Dedication Class on April 25 at 5:30 pm at Five Oaks Church. This class is designed to encourage and equip parents of young children to be intentional in raising kids who know and love God (Deuteronomy 6:5–7). Childcare is provided, and Family Dedication will take place during service on May 10. For more information and/or to register, click here.
Are you a word nerd?
Our church has a devotional called DailyLife, written and edited entirely by volunteers. We currently have openings on our writing and editing teams! If you love to write and/or edit and want to help shepherd our readership in their walk with Jesus, please email Peg Benson, pbenson@fiveoakschurch.org. We provide training and support on an ongoing basis as needed. This is a great way to serve from home — or from the cabin!
Do you ask great questions?
Our Sermon Application Guide (SAG) is the heartbeat of our small groups, turning Sunday’s message into Monday’s action. We are looking for writers and editors to help craft the very questions that spark breakthrough and discipleship across our church! If you have a knack for asking “the right question” or a love for deep diving into scripture, we need your insight. Help us bridge the gap between hearing the Word and living it out together. High school summer camp: a few spots remain
Registration for high school summer camp is still open! Oaks high schoolers are invited to join Wood Lake Camp for their July 12-17 high school week. Students will make lasting memories with new and old friends through meaningful discussion, outdoor games and adventures, worship, and quiet time.
