One year ago, God began a new chapter for Oaks Church, and we have so much to celebrate! Join us on Sunday, September 27, from 5:00–7:30 pm at Five Oaks Church as we celebrate God’s faithfulness over the past year with a chili cook-off potluck, raffle prizes, and time together as a church family. Last call for school supplies drive!
Every child deserves to begin the school year with the supplies they need to learn and thrive. This month, we’re partnering with SoWashCo CARES to provide school supplies and books for early learners in our community. Access the shopping list here. New seasons, new classrooms, new steps of faith
A new school year brings new opportunities to see God grow and shape us! Join us as we celebrate the next steps in faith for our Oaks Kids. On August 30, we’ll pray for our fifth graders as they prepare for Student Ministry. Fifth-grade parents are invited to join Oaks Kids for this special prayer time. Then on September 13, we’ll celebrate Move Up Sunday as incoming kindergarteners and third graders move into their new classrooms and incoming sixth graders begin attending adult services. Questions? Are you a parent, student, or interested volunteer curious about Oaks Student Ministry for grades 6–12? Kyler Albert, Five Oaks Student Ministry Pastor, and Joe O’Kane, Oaks Student Ministry Director, will share what’s ahead for the 2026–27 school year. Women’s Ministry Kickoff
Ladies, it’s time to flourish! Join us for a fun evening of connection as we kick off a new ministry year at Oaks Church. Enjoy snacks and fellowship, hear the vision for Oaks Women’s Ministry, and discover the ministry opportunities and gatherings beginning in October. Come connect, be encouraged, and find your place—we can’t wait to see you! We will meet on September 1 from 7-8:30 pm at Alisa Ellingson’s Home. Look for registration soon!
