Weekend of February 8
Connect Stories: How one family found belonging through serving
This weekend, you’ll hear the story of the Dixon family and how serving on our Sunday set-up and tear-down team has helped them welcome others while growing closer as a family. By serving side by side, they’re helping create a space where people can come ready to worship—and finding meaningful connection and purpose along the way. Interested in learning more about serving, email Jennifer Fair at mejifair@gmail.com.
A Valentine's invitation for young families
Join Oaks Kids for Jesus Loves Me Storytime on February 14 at 10:30 at Park Grove Library. We’ll share stories, songs, and simple activities that point kids to God’s love—and we DONUT want you to miss it. (Donuts and milk included.) Details and registration here.
Ladies, help build community at Oaks
You’re invited! Join us for our first Oaks Women’s Get-Together—an evening to meet new friends, build community, and grow together as a new church family. We will be getting together Thursday, February 26 from 7–9 pm. If you’re interested, click here.
Help your student find community
Do you have a student looking for a place where they’ll be seen, known, and heard? Come check out Five Oaks Students on Wednesday Nights. Middle school meets from 6-8 pm; high school runs from 7-9 pm. Your student can expect time to connect with other students and adults who are passionate about pointing them to Christ, games, worship, a talk, and discussion group time. Questions? Email Kyler Albert.
Stay connected to what your kids are learning
Want to know what your kids are learning, singing, and experiencing in Oaks Kids each month? Our Kids Director sends a monthly email to help parents stay in the loop and keep faith conversations going at home. If you’re not receiving it yet, email Kayleigh Allred, kallred@oakscg.church.
