Hearing Jesus - W3

Can you keep doing all the right things and still grow distant from the One you love? In Revelation 2:1-7, the risen Jesus writes to Ephesus, a church planted by Paul, led by Timothy, and possibly pastored by John. They worked hard, endured hardship, and guarded the truth. Nevertheless, Jesus says, they had left their first love. This message shows that faithful service cannot take the place of first love, and walks through how to recover a first love that has grown quiet: let Jesus examine your heart, name what has replaced your first love, rediscover Jesus by remembering, repenting, and returning, and receive his warning while trusting his promise. Am I doing these things because I love Jesus?
