Hearing Jesus - W6

What does it mean for a church to be irreplaceable? Not the biggest, richest, or busiest, but a church that lives in the world as if what Jesus says is true. In Revelation 2:18-29, Jesus writes to the church in Thyatira, a church growing in love, faith, service, and perseverance, yet tolerating a teaching that told them they could live in two worlds. Most of our lives happen outside church activities, and what we tolerate there shapes everything else. This message walks through three marks of an irreplaceable church: living like Jesus, trusting God's judgment, and holding on to Jesus. Programs and strategy are replaceable. The presence of Jesus in his people is not.
